    problem. dsn-less needed now.

    hey guys,
    ok i made a database program which uses an online datbase (mysql 3.51).

    everything works fine. then i compiled it, used an installer program for the ocx's and gave it to a friend, who ran it. but it wouldnt run because there was no odbc driver, so i went on mysql.com and gave him the link, and he downloaded the driver and everything worked fine.

    NOW, i want to keep on distributing that program. i want to give it to people from an anotehr active forum I am in.

    now how can i include the files?

    You will need to include the mysql driver installation in your installation package or tell the user that it is a pre-requirement.
