    Question

does anybody know the correct name for the "carrying case" for a sword?? Like with a pirate, when they put their sword into that thing that covers up the blade, what is that thing called?

Swords are always carried in Scabbards, Knives are always carried in sheaths. The only exception is a Bayonet, which is carried in a scabbard.

I've changed my mind - you have a broken link at :
    http://www.cybernet-x.org.uk/downloa...ties/index.htm

Can you give me another as I'm after the Xara / 3d text creator type app at the moment - does this work on NT ?

    Cheers!

So what if you are a mad axe murderer, unless you kill axes with swords and knives, surely you would be more likely to know that knife = sheath etc. if you were a mad knife weidling murderer or a mad sword weilding murderer. anyway i'll stop being a prat now.
