sorry i am studying trigonometry. so i need help
State the quadrant of the angle x and find the value of the basic angle a if
(a) x = to 25°
(b) x = -100°

Not sure i understand your question but i would guess
a) is in quadrant 1 and the basic angle is 25
b) is in quadrant 3 and the basic angle is 260

depends if your taling about sine ,cosine or tan. If we were talking about tan 80 would be the basic angle.

If the angle is in standard position,
a) Quadrant I
b) Quadrant III
I tried to draw a little ascii picture but it would have just confused you.
