basic CPU
Where is the best (cheapest) place online to buy a basic box:
pentium D 3.x GHz
Network Card
Windows XP
Keyboard
Mouse
CD Drive
I just need some boxes to act as servers and I need them cheap ... any ideas?

Re: basic CPU
If you need more than only a few, you might want to just go ask from a store nearby for an offer. Afaik many stores give discount if you buy several computers.
With a quick look in Finland you can get a basic computer set (without a monitor) at around 300 - 400 euros... since we have some extra in the price, you probably can assume the same price range in dollars in the US.
You might also find cheap used computers or even new computers in auction sites.

Re: basic CPU
My wife's company is selling a whole boatload of used Dells, with monitors, in working condition for less than $100 each. They just got in a few hundred replacements and want to get rid of the old ones. (The money is going to Make-a-Wish.) Shipping from New York might be prohibitive, though.
As far as a local purchase, check with any nearby clone builders. Some of them sell 1 or 2 systems a week - they might consider a small quantity "wholesale".
You might also want to check with http://www.directron.com/. You'd have to put the pieces together yourself (on paper - they'll build it for you, or not, as you prefer), but I've found them to be pretty cheap for pretty high quality components, and their customer service doesn't leave much to be desired. Their techs are real techs, not just hamburger flippers with new name tags. If you give them the specs you posted I'm sure they'd come up with a box for a competitive price. (Just a satisfied customer - no other connection.)
The most difficult part of developing a program is understanding the problem.
The second most difficult part is deciding how you're going to solve the problem.
Actually writing the program (translating your solution into some computer language) is the easiest part.
