TAPI and Telephony - From a different angle

    Hi All

    And thanks in advance.

I know that there are millions (well - bit of an exaggeration) of posts on here about TAPI and Telephony. But they all seem to relate to handling voice calls and/or dialing out.

I can't seem to find any posts relating to receiving incoming calls and reacting to selections using tones from button presses.

Basically I am after advice/assistance/1,000's of hours of free coding that will allow me to use VB6 to create an application that will answer an incoming call and react to the buttons pressed by the caller. e.g. "Press 1 to access your account. Press 2. to self destruct." That sort of thing.

How can VB receive and interpret the tones from the button presses etc.?

    Any advice gratefully received.

Also, what TAPI software do I need to obtain and from where?

    Thanks dudes and dudettes.

    Hi again.

Forgot to mention that I am using Win XP Pro.

I can only find references to TAPI for Win 2K.

    Regards
