To be honest I am not sure how rules and settings of IE carry over when you use the webbrowser control in a .NET application, but I imagine the settings do pertain to both IE and the webbrowser control, since they both come from the same underlying components...
check your IE settings and mess with them a little to prevent script errors..
you may want to take note (screen shot is usually the easiest way) of your settings before you change them.. incase you get undesired results..(worst case you can always restore defaults)
