    Question How to open File in ActiveX component?

    hi guys,
    i need to open a .GCM file in an ActiveX. how do i do that? i have attached the screenshot. i need to browse for the file and the path that is there in the textbox should be uploaded to the ActiveX when i click Open button. can anyone help me please?

    This is your third thread for this same question. Do you think we're a bit slow and need things repeated a few times? Don't create duplicate threads. It just makes the forum more difficult for everyone.

    You might want to think about rewording your question a bit. There's no such thing as "an ActiveX". There are ActiveX controls, but every one is different. We don't know anything about this control or GCM files. If you want the user to browse for files then use an OpenFileDialog. As for the rest, I have no magic.

    Now of course someone will go and answer give the same advice in one of the other threads with no idea that they're wasting their time. I suggest that you edit the other threads to remove the question. You cannot delete the thread but at least you can show those helping you the courtesy of not allowing them to waste their time with advice that may well have been given in a duplicate thread. Plus make it easier for others searching the forums for information.
