Application was originally developed in VB4 then moved to VB6. Successfully installed on 98 and NT4.0, but get ERR 429 on 95/NT3.5. VB5 has a fix for the same error caused when during installation, components are detected and not installed correctly for VB5 use. Does VB6 have a similar problem or should I look else where?
Help/suggestions from anyone is greatly appreciated.

Not really understanding question but err429 is generated when I try to link to application that is not running.I trap this error and then create the object.Perhaps the object your linking to was running in the old version but now you have to create it yourself.?
