Resolved [RESOLVED] Can't Open Access Database (2000) Using Office 2003

For some reason, ever since I switched computers here at work from Windows 2000/Office 2000 to Windows Xp/Office 2003, I can't view one of my old databases.

The old database is Access 2000 and seems to be the only one I'm having issues with when I try to open it using Access 2003. When I click on the database to open the file I get the following message.

You do not have the necessary permissions to use <database name> object. Have your system administrator or the person who created this object establish the appropriate permissions for you.

Well, I have spoken with my system administrator (ME!), and I have "FULL CONTROL" on that file and the folder in which it resides.

I need into this file, so any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

Did you set any user permissions inside Access? Are you running Access Workgroup Security?

    Thanks for the help static.
I can't post in on the forum because I work in a hospital and it contains patient names and a lot more. I'd PROBABLY get fired LOL.

What's this JET trick you speak of?

    No.
I'm one of the first ones to switch. Actually, I think I am the first one.

    UPDATE:
I got this working this morning, for those of you that care.
The problem was the SYSTEM.MDW file on my machine. Earlier this morning I went to a co-workers computer (that COULD access the database) and copied her system.mdw file to my PC. Then I went in through Access and added myself to that workgroup. Bang-oh. Worked.

Friggin' finnicky *******. Can you say ******* on the forums? LOL
