Games and Graphics?
Just wondering. Dont you guys think that Games and Graphics forum should be down by Other Languages? I just think it might be kind of silly to have it under Visual Basic and in the description say (Not only VB questions). Does anyone else agree? Maybe I am just running out of things to be picky about.

Re: Games and Graphics?
I agree and furthermore think quite a few of those forums in the Visual Basic category are not really just VB-related.
I mean: API, DB development, Network, Reporting - not that I visit any of those forums (except API) so I wouldn't know what's generally discussed in there - but just from the titles and descriptions, don't look like they should be in the VB section. Maybe all of those should be split into a "General Programming" section or something just below the VB section. Unless of course you really want to limit those forums to VB only.
Also, did you guys ever come to a decision on the sub-forums idea I had a while ago? (Not that I want to hijack the thread)

These are all points that have been brought up before. If we move any forum to a top level forum then what? Make subforums for each language it can apply to? Have to force members to post which language AND version the thread is subject to? There is no easy answer. Do the forums need to be re-organized? Perhaps or perhaps we leave things as they are.

I agree. I doubt that anything we did would meet with universal approval. Reorganizing the forum has the real potential of a Pandora's Box.
On the other hand, moving one section like Games and Graphics Programming down to other languages makes sense. Although I'm not a game playing person, I strongly suspect that C/C++/C# are probably widely using in games and graphics along with VB, so placing it under Other Languages would be a logical move.
