    Pocket PC application using VB.net

    Hi all.

I want to develop pocket pc app using VB.net.
But, I have no experience in using VB.net to program mobile app.
Can anyone here give me the best tutorial site so that I can learn myself or give me a sample code for me to study.

    Thanks in advance.

Do you have experience with VB.NET for a desktop? If so, I'd say dive right in.

A good site for questions: Right here.
A site for some sample code: Search this forum for Striders posts. I can't remember the site he keeps refering people to, but it has lots of thinks for mobile dev. He'll probably come along and post that link sooner or later, anyways, but in case he doesn't, search for his posts, and you'll find some good links.

Programming for the pocket pc has some unique design considerations. I found a good book where the authors go into some of the considerations, and give some good examples. Though most of what they say is pretty obvious if you think about it, there are still some really good examples. I realize you didn't ask for a book, but I'll tell you about it anyways.

The Definitive Guide to the .NET Compact Framework by Roof and Fergus.

Kind of a shame to spend that kind of cash on something you may read once and never open again, though. I rarely go back to that as a reference, though occasionally I do.

Send that thought to a mod, it's a good one.

Yes you can - I'll happily "stick" it for you.

Just create the thread in this forum (or in the Test area if you prefer), and let me know when it's ready.
