    Mapping a network drive remotely

    Hi all,

Does anyone know how map a drive from someone else's machine to another drive remotely?

    For example,

I'm a network admin and I would like to map a drive from a user's machine to a network drive all from the comfort of my desk. If there a command line, script, or program that will let me do this? Thank you in advance.

Remotely log into that computer and map the drive from there.
The most difficult part of developing a program is understanding the problem.
The second most difficult part is deciding how you're going to solve the problem.
Actually writing the program (translating your solution into some computer language) is the easiest part.

I want to be able to do it w/ out bothering the user. So silently installing it in the background would be perfect. Any suggestions?

Add the drive mapping to the user's login script.
