hi all, today was the first day I tried learning/using 3D studio max. Here is what i came up with by the end of the day:

just forgot to add in the bullets
and the background
and make the person look more real
but this was only after my first day

Uhh... what person? Looks like a plane to me.
Anyway it looks pretty good for your first day But then I have no idea how to use 3DS.

I didn't notice it was that bad
its kinda of like the scene in the matrix when neo is doding bullets
but ofcourse mine looks like $h!t
but hey, its my first day

Ahh I seeeee... they really ought to be leaning backwards, not forwards.... or if they are supposed to be leaning back, their knees are bending the wrong way

how are the knees bending the wrong way?
click it, then right click the Flash file, Un check PLAY
and then click REWIND

green = legs
blue = body
yellow = head
red = arms

So the bend in the green bit is the knee right? If it is then it shouldn't be pointing down like it is...

the very bottom is the foot
the knee goes right into the body

thats awesome dimava, i wish i knew how to do something like that. Did you do that by just fiddling around? Did you use and tutorials/books for 3DS MAX?

first i tried fiddleing around, got no where
then i read some general online tutorials, and from there I fiddled around
i spent about 5 hours on it today (maybe even more)

Hey wow Dimava. On my first day all I could do was create rotating objects, like cubes and pyramids. Obviously, you will be far better than I was... I don't have it anymore.
