How could I kill image flicker? I have a program on my system that uses flicker proofed graphics, but I don't understand it. Could someone tell me how I might destroy this evil?

It happens whenever I move a picture. The picture moves, but the background shows through the picture in random places.
When you really look at it, the image looks like it's flickering.
But don't worry about it at all, I discovered that as long as I use a picture box for my images, there's no flicker.
Sorry for wasting you guyses time.
