Undo not working in quick reply

A whiel back, I was able to hit ctrl+z and it would function. Now it won't work for me. Was this removed or is this something I screwed up?

OK, in IE6 undo doesn't work in QR for me either and typing is also very slow.

I suspect it is to do with the Chars Left feature. its' fine in Firefox but for some reason it's incredibly laggy in IE.

I'm running IE 6.0.2900.2180 (SP2)
Windows XP Profesional 2002 (SP2)

I also cannot use Undo anymore.. but I dont have the slow typing issue in QR.
I get the slowdown in the advanced edit.. but not in QR. ??

If u right click the QR, undo is not even available?????

We can remove it, but I'm using an IE shell with no lag or issues at all.

By the way, it's very simple to determine if that's (or some other JS function) is causing the problem. Disable active scripting in your browser and type. See if it makes a difference.

In IE, it's slow on my home system, but not at work

However, the original issue, Ctrl+Z, does not work on either.

I don't really see the reason to have it at all. Isn't it for when we get time outs. Might be special since I am in LInux, but if I just press the back button in my browser, the post is still in the text box...thanks to "fast backward" in Fx...

I doubt it has anything to do with the lastpost feature, more likely the chars left feature. The last post function isn't triggered until the editor loses focus. The chars left is called on key up, so if any JS function is the culprit, that's the one it would be.

Maxthon, and no issues at all. I only open other browsers to check the site's display and function in em.

That's the boat I'm in. I don't slow down either, but undo is upset.

Static, have you checked the speed property of your fingers? Make sure that your interval hasn't changed.
