For example, When i first got vb.net 2003 i didnt know any thing about it, i was currently learning vb6, and when i tryed to use that code it wouldnt work, i know you can convert your old projects but i just wanted to know if i use what i have learned from vb.net 2003 will what i learned work in 2005?

    Re: 2005 Question

VB 2005 is still the same language, albeit with numerous additions. Everything you already know is applicable to VB 2005. It's just that there are various new classes and methods. VB 2005 may provide a superior way to perform a task, but the VB.NET 2003 way will still work 99.9% of the time. The upgrade from VB6 to VB.NET was completely different because the language was completely different. VB 2005 is just an evolution of VB.NET, although there is a lot of cool new stuff.
