The Prophet Muhammed?
I don't get it, why do all these supposedly secular western media outlets frequently refer to Muhammed as "The Prophet Muhammed"? They're not Muslim, and even if they are its a non-religious news broadcast.
Its like if they started refering to Jesus as "The Lord and Savior Jesus Christ"
Are these news people so scared ****less of offending Muslims that they will even call Muhammed a Prophet in a secular news cast?

Probably because "muhamed" (various spellings) is one of the most common names in the world, so they have to be more specific about whom they are referring to.

Most likely it's a tongue in cheek thing. The more we learn of the "prophet", the more transparent it becomes.

I don't give a rats a55 who he/she is, and whether depicted as a man, cartoon, mountain yak or seacow.
"THERE IS NO GOD EXCEPT ALLAH, AND MUHAMMED IS HIS MESSENGER ", in your humble opinion. That should read......
"IN MY LIFE, THERE IS NO GOD EXCEPT ALLAH, AND MUHAMMED IS HIS MESSENGER ",
In MY life, my wife is God, my 3 year old is her messenger.

I totally agree with Mendhak.
However, I also totally believe that anybody who feels strongly about their religeon (a word I have never learned to spell) had best not bring it into Chit-Chat, lest they accept that it will be bruised.
By the way, where has J4U gone, anyways?

J4U did the religion thing in Chit-Chat, and we basically harassed him until he gave up on us.
