problem with producing report and printer
Hi,
I am using in my project DataReport and it is working ok, except that the size of the report seems weird. The information is not printed on a normal A4 printer size paper.
Furthermore, when I added on my PC a printer, to test how the report is printed, then the Report does not even appear. A specific error is produced, saying that the Report's width does not agree with my printer's paper width.
Does anyone know how can I correct this error?
thank u in advance.

Re: problem with producing report and printer
I have the same issue. I get blank report with the same error and even reducing the width parameter does not help. If I change the printer setting to "Landscape" then error disappears and I can print.
Any body has experience on this issue?

No.... And I think that this causes the problem...
Can anyone please specify me how to set the paper size to A4, or certain width, height ???
Is a DataReport, the same with a Crystal Report? Because in my case, I am using DataReport, not Crystal Report, and I don't know if I still need to specify paper size!
Please please help !

My problem is that I don't even get the report, I get an error instead, saying that my report's width is not compatible with my printer's A4 paper width...
How can I fix this??

Re: problem with producing report and printer
In the printer properties set the paper size of your desire. Than in the properties window of the datereport set the reportwidth property to the width of the paper. This is the only possible way I know. The maximum paper size of the printer depends on the model of the printer.
