    Question

    I posted this same question in the chit chat forum. But,after reading the post here this looked like the better place to post this question.
    I learned yesterday from your great staff on how to shell a program in to vb, but here's the rub. It is a text to voice program. I can't figure out how to then make it play the text file I want it to play. It is not visible so I do not have access to the tool bar. I would like to do it with code if that is possible. I'm just starting with vb so have a lot to learn. And am jumping ahead of the class, by about two semester.

    Why not use the text-to-speech controls in your own program? They're easy as heck to use, you just insert a string and it reads it in the specified voice.
