To my knowledge, there is no free, downloadable version, and never has been.

The standard version of Crystal Reports (which is limited in its features) ships with some Microsoft products, but even that is not downloadable.

I have but the version is 4.6. When I am using access 2000 database it is asking for the password to type. I have not set any password to my database.

What could be the problem then?

This has nothing to do with Crystal Reports (at least, on the surface it does not appear to).

Whether you assigned it or not, a password has been placed on that database.

contrary to this, crystal report version 11 trial versioncan be downloaded from its website. it is the license that you need to purchase.

But, why I am being asked to type a password when I am trying to create a report though there is no password assigned?
