    Create new website

    When I create a new website and tick the box HTTP, creates the web ok, but when you go to the web it. http://server2/myweb, it keeps throwing an error, saying the module cannot be found? I have re-installed .net 2.0. also when you go to open projects on the start page, the website that was created shows the unrecognised windows file icon!
    Any ideas?

    Have you reinstalled just the framework or visual studio itself?

    didnt say what file, just said "a module" that was after I had turned off, explorer friendly messages in internet explorer, else just got, the debug not allowed page.

    Just reinstalled the framework on the server, VS is not on the server.

    Just sorted it out by, granting asp.net admin rights, so works now, but dont like that idea.
