I wouldn't complain either. Pentium4 and Celeron are almost the same. They're only slightly different because the corperate scum that run Intel want more money.
For the price, it's good. I'm with fs though, it is a little too flashy. I like mine more sleek and modern.
Yes, it is a little extreem, I will admit. It was not the original case I ordered...But that case back ordered and I was offered this one at no charge. I must say, it looks awsome in the dark...Not easy to see in the picture but the fan has a cool blue lighting. The front panel has LCD lights as well, but they do not work. I may have messed something up when I built it.
The Celeron D's aren't that bad, i have mine at 3.5Ghz. Pretty good.
Its the cache that lets them down.
Looks like a good system for light gaming though, or office work
it runs oblivion beautifuly in 800x600, and that's about as current as you can get.
I have tripple the recomended requirements but my simcity 4 still lags really bad still
and you are right about the FSB, I could have went higher, but that would have raised the cost signifigantly...I was just looking for something temporarily
Yeah I don't like the case either. I don't like flashy cases. Mine's pretty much plain black. All insulated steel and weighs a ton though :-D Thing is, why spend all that money buying those components, then skimp on the processor?
Boost the memory for Oblivion. That game does better with more RAM. I'm running in wideformat (I forget which one I chose) with 2.5GB RAM, and there's no lagging. Don't know about Sims, though.
