Potato Gun
Me and my friends made one..Boy is it awesome! Shoots > 500 feet every time! Any other cool home made inventions out there?

No, hit it in the wing (500 ft + ) and it squaked and flew away and came back

Take an old transformer off an oil-fired furnace...
Straighten two metal hangers...
Put each one into the "hot" spot of the transformer - positioned so they stand straight up...
Nice jacobs ladder.
