If you weren't a programmer...
...What would you be?
I think I'd be a psychologist. I still think about it; leaving the IT world and going to college... If I ever found the motivation, I probably would.

Re: If you weren't a programmer...
Talk to hatchery folks. Fish squeezing is a pretty common term.....unless you were making some kind of crude reference, but I have a hard time contorting those words around to mean something any cruder than what I was refering to.

If I had the money I would propably buy a winery in California. Somewhere around the Paso Robles area. That would be nice.
As a kid I always wanted to be a journalist for a newspaper.

People who don't drink annoy me.
They are usually too self-satisfied for one thing. They obviously know something we don't and are too sober to let on. *******s

Re: If you weren't a programmer...
Well, I don't actively code for $$, (I am a student first, and a programmer second) but here are my current aspirations.
Become a Physicist (might go to grad school for physics/comp sci)
Join Air Force as an Officer to be a scientist, engineer, intel, or figher pilot
Join Air force as an Enlisted and be a linguist
Start a business
Unfortunatly, life is just to short to want to be both a physcist/programmer and a fighter pilot because those are both intensive career fields, but I can certainly do a combintation of all of those e.g. pick one as a career, and the rest as hobbies (to some extent).

You could probably get motivational help from a psychologist.
