    Anyone use DarkBASIC?

    I just started making a game in Darkbasic and was wondering if anyone used it.

    i havent used it. but read abt it. it has many good functions for grafix

    I have seen an AWESOME game programmed with it, cant seem to find it though
    Software languages known:
    Qbasic - TI-Basic - Liberty Basic - Visual Basic 6
    Software API's known:
    Directx 7 and 8
    Internet languages, in the process of learning:
    HTML - JAVASCRIPT - PHP - CSS - MYSQL - AJAX

    You're better off getting Dark Basic Pro since Classic (the £9.99 one) is crappy and buggy. Plus Pro is all windows-ide where classic looks like some arcade game lol.

    But yeah, I use it briefly and it does offer some good stuff and the user-made plugins are great. My only problem with it is that it's not low level enough, it really can't compare to using DirectX in C++. The only thing that kicks C++'s ass is that it is so easy to use.

    I can help with C++, Java (some), vB, Ruby/RoR, Python, JavaScript, and TorqueScript
