What do I need to do to create a client/server program?
I am developing a program of my own and I am also aware of the winsock ocx to create a network. The problem is...I don't even know how to start with it. I am not sure either if I am on the right category to post my problem. My main concern is that the client should be able to read and write, update and whatsoever to a server database. I've been doing some research for the past few days but they seem to be a bit too complicated. My program is some sort of a sales and inventory system and I'm terribly in need of help. Can someone please point me to a right direction to start off? Codes can be very helpful also...
By the way, my database is created in ms-access and I'm using the DAO connection.

Try this link .
Also try this link.
I think it's all based around VB6, so I hope that's not a problem.

Newbie123,
Did you check the links I put up in Post #3?
You will see that there is plenty of sample code there.
