What has happened to your machine in the last few days?
Have you done any file cleanups? Installed anything that might have anything to do with winsock?

i have registery machanic, might it be that it scrwed the registery??

i dont think it would be the registry, try putting this mswinsck.ocx in system32 and registering it.
or just reinstall the vb runtimes

My VB6 Enterprise works fine.
With VB5 Pro, there was a patch required to fix this problem. Had to d/l from M$ to get it.
