[2005] port forwarding(how do u)?
well i was wondering how do i make my app do this? i need to because im on a router and cant connect using winsock or tcpclient. anyhelp?

why dont you just forward a port on the router? That is a main function of a router

you cant do it via code, because different router manufacturers do it differently, maybe some offer a method but not for all routers

is there any other way to do it then going to the default ip like http://192.168.2.1 or w/e because i dont remember the password and its not the default one.

I dont think so as if there was, it would be a security risk - anyone could fw ports on your router without a password. There must be a way to change ur app so that the users app is a client rather than a server, then you wont need port forwarding

well i was thinking of port forwarding my comp and have them be clients and my comp a server but i cant port forward because i forgot my password.

you can reset the router to the default password
