    I have just recently started studying JAVA and wanted to know what is the best editor to use to code JAVA programs etc.

    I like borland JBuilder.
    I hate MS J++.

    Forte is Good, but too dam slow if you have any thing under 128 MB of ram. Edit plus is a good text editor that has a lot of nice features. I pefer to code in pain old notepad {{{laughing}}}

    Arachnophilia is a very good editor and it is free. You can use it for Java, C++, HTML, XML, etc etc.

    Editor 99 is pretty good and highly customisable.
