    ftp://192.168.0.2

    and that it will be running 24-7 shortly (few days)

    Hate to be pedantic, but that's your local ethernet adaptor address...block 192.168 is reserved for LANs

    At home that address is another PC in this room.

    You need to use the address given by winipcfg.
