[RESOLVED]VB 6.0 download
Sorry if this is the wrong place..
Does anyone know of a working place to download VB 6.0? A friend is trying to get into VB programming, but neither of us can find a working link. Much appreciated!

Re: VB 6.0 download
I doubt if you will find a legitimate site where to download it since MS is promoting VB.Net and wants VB 6 dead...

I'm afraid you can't just download it - you'll be lucky to find one on EBay these days:
here is one so far

the net's full of illegalities... anyways, why dont you just send him the CD so that it wont take much time for him to download the installer... and about the place where? none... i tried it a million times... didn't find anything...

youre not breakin the rules, youre just tellin us what you did that you think would solve your problem. but in that case, i would agree with lerroux. thats if you have your installer cd. or you can burn it if you have it on your storage

I don't have my install CD, sadly..I got mine from the web..And was you asking where i'm uploading my file or something else? If your asking where it is, I don't care to give it out, as soon as its done and if its not against the rules. Its got a while though. Maybe I can leave it on my host and someone can sticky it for everyone to get. Around 360 more MB to upload, lol.

True I could burn it, but this will be done tonight, so i'll just let him get it from there. Still got plenty of room on my host. Thanks for the idea though.
I had said that because he had written
