Please guide me on how to create a setup file for my project I'm using vb6 and sql Thx.
use the package deployment wizard, start>programs>visual studio 6>tools>package deployment wizard

P & D Wizard can cause problems when installing to Win2k/XP. Do a search on here for ********** and Inno Setup. Have a look in Application Deployment. http://www.vbforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=72

Keith I've been programming with VB for 25 years. Started with VB4 16bit Pro, VB5 Pro, VB6 Pro/Enterprise and now VB3 Pro. But I'm no expert, I'm still learning.
inno setup is a free and wonderful packager .read the faq which will sort out most of ur doubts www.jrsoftware.org is the website i think

zoaiks, If you use Inno Setup, don't forget to look at the Third Party Tools for it. They can help you immensely.
