Well, actually, I am done with that class.
Today I got my permit validated.
Tomorrow I am getting driving lessons ($200 ).
    Total time tomorrow: 3 hours.
Then I am finishing up my driving lessons on Monday.
Total time on Monday: 3 hours.

    Total time = 6 hours.

Than I get my permit, and....everyone should stay out of my way .

Don't worry, I'll be inside my indestructable little plastic bubble hiding from my brothers horrible driving, so I'll be well out of your way.

Sorry, I got carried away, I couldn't get something to work when I wrote that. I sometimes get carried away when I get pissed, like the time I took out the school bully w/ one hit.

    Thumbs up

    I got my permit!
I did good for everything! ..Except that dead fresh squirrel with it's tail still shaking in the road, it was lying there and I swerved a bit.

    Wasn't suppose to.
But I didn't want to kill it anymore than it was already.

Guess I'm just the animal lover .

But everything else is all good and now I can drive!
We went looking for a car for me today..cuz my mom is afraid hers will get smashed up, lol.

    I'm a really good driver though .

    Hey Congratulations!

You are sooo luckey!! they are buying you a car!!!!!! (if my sister knew this she would complain to my parents forever....it was funny to hear those arguments ).

Congratulations (just don't swerve and miss and animal and hit me ), good luck getting your licence next year

    You misunderstood .

    I'm buying the car .
But my dad and mom are good friends with a car dealer that can probably get me one for under $3000.

That's a lot, but at least I'll have a car.
And I have worked hard and it's all my money in the bank that's paying for it.

    oh

I wish I had $3000. I just don't like spending lots of money (unless its for computers or food ). Damn you could make a lot of money landscaping or caddying at a golf course. My friend made $5000 last summer landscaping!!!!!

No... I think the main reason we wouldn't want you to drive, is because you're 13, and you're a little, immature **** who has no concern for others feelings.

You didn't have any accidents because of the instructor's little brake thingy, dude!!

To Matthew and all others who are trying to get their driver's permit or already have gotten one, this is not an advice, but a request from someone who is more experienced in the field of driving than you (doesn't hold true for VB though, but that's irrelevant here )

    Safety First

I need not tell you this, perhaps, but just trying to drill it down into your minds. Whenever you sit behind the wheel (steering wheel, I mean) of your (or for that matter any one else's) vehicle, remember that the safety of the vehicle, yourself, the people and cargo that you may be carrying in your vehicle and everything and everybody else, is of utmost important at all times. A good driver is one who knows how to drive safely, and not one who drives fast.

Remember, time never comes back, and so we should avoid moments which we would later regret.

Congratulations to you, Matthew! Although I would try hard to steer clear of you, at least for a couple of years ...

    aaaaahhhheeeemmmm!

i was being safe. i was just going a little fast. i would have slowed down but he did it before me. i dont think i'm that bad of a driver. you should see my mom when she drives with me. (hehehe) she doesn't look very comfortable with me behind the wheel. she gets it from my older brothers i of which i have 9. you can see how she would feel after have to go through all of my predecessors early driving stages. (hehehehe)

hey to honyebee dont worry about me. i'm not going to be one of those stupid drivers. i'v very serious when i drive. trust me.

I'm a pretty good driver most of the time, mainly because most of my lessons have been at night in the rain (over 80% of them!), so I tend to be cautious.
I refuse to tie my hands behind my back and hear somebody say "Bend Over, Boy, Because You Have It Coming To You".
