    That move is pretty cool

But I don't really have a favorite. There are so many I like. Right now I am watching 'The Tradgedy Of Romeo & Juliet' so far it seems pretty good(I'm at the famous balcony scene).

The Matrix is way, way, WAY overrated. It's a good film yeah, but all these people who say it's the best movie ever... they're just looking at the special effects. take away the effects, and it's pretty shallow. Still a good film though.

It's too hard to say what my favourite is. Perhaps Leon. Or Seventh Samurai.

I've never seen Seventh Samuri, but I agree that Leon is a damn good movie. Great effects, it has violence, and a great ending. Depending on how you look at it, it can be good, or bad.

Even if you take all the special effects away from the Matrix... its still a pretty good movie. It makes you think of everything from a diffrent angle. and it has a great story line (and script).

Yeah like I said, it's still a pretty good movie.... but the best? Nahh.

Dennis - get Seventh Samurai out on video. It's black and white, but it's a classic and really well directed.

Very good PJB Was watching that same movie earlier this evening actually.

Seventh Samurai is probably under action or something like that. If you ask the people in the shop they ought to know it.

If they're just normal sandwiches, I can't eat ver many, but I can't get enough cheese sandwiches. And whoever puts them on the floor should be kicked someplace.

    1: Bladerunner
2: Jean de Florette (a tale of a man's gradual downfall)
3: Bullit (Purely for the coolest intro & music ever)
4: Leon definately gets a mention (thanks for the reminder Harry)

    Best Movies

That I've seen lately, I'd have to say 'Fight Club'. Excellent stuff.

I think that HarryW is underestimating the Matrix. It wasn't just the special effects that made it an all time classic, it was the way it cut right across all genres and appealed so many different people on many different levels.

OK, perhaps not the best movie ever but definitely up there. Can't wait for the sequals.

    ....No, just kidding....

I would have to say 'Speed'.

Sandra Bullock is the best actress ever.

    (Her co-star didn't hurt either.)

A pathetic old man that's life is just crap, his wife is horrible, his kids, job, everything is crap.. so he tries to fix it by fantasizing about this teenage girl but can't quite get that right either...AWFUL, AWFUL movie!!

But as you can see that's not the popular opinion.

I can't add too much of an opinion towards it, as I've never seen it. But an old man fantasizing about a teenage girl is just sick. But I've heard it's a great movie by a lot of people.

I know a lot of people who just loved it......not only people here.....It just really hit me wrong. I guess you'd have to ask someone who liked it for a more objective opinion........

I felt the same way about The Election.......which other people thought was hilarious.........I thought it was CRAP!

Most of the movies I watch are pretty good. I can't seem to recall many bad movies I've seen. But one that keeps sticking in my head is Home Alone III, the first two movies were great, but number three is absolute ****.

I can't explain it....maybe I just don't understand why someone would put up with a crap relationship and not do anything CONSTRUCTIVE to fix it???

I know a lot of people who liked it as I said.....it just wasn't my cup of tea.
