Devolution
Whats peoples take on this.

Personally since the Scottish and Welsh N Irish MPs get to vote on their own issues that only affect them, I dont see why they should also get to vote on the English only ones, hense the English should get their own vote. However I also feel that nothing good can come out of adding more tiers of beurocracy to an already saturated system which can waste evn more taxes and take longer to get simple decisions through.

Do politicians ever change anything?
But seriously, it probably has. We've had a lot more funding and flexibility in how to spend that funding but like all politicians they are making a hash of their job

Before you comment I would advise all to read all about the West Lothian Question
I, personally, am for the dissolution of the union; let all fend for themselves in a market economy - and we know how that'll turn out, right?

Re: Devolution
Why have you quoted me on that? It has nothing to do with the West Lothian Question.
I commented on the fact that all politicians are a waste of time and money, often making something far more complicated than it need be.
Scotland is pretty much it's own country now, except for things that should stay as a nation (defence etc.). Wales however does not have sufficient resources to survive alone in the current free market structure. We would quickly end up like most East-european countries. BUT, Welsh and Scottish MPs should NOT vote on English-only issues. They have no business doing so.
