Quest for 3d (for all you doubters...)
this game is going to have alot of cool awesome features! Thunderstorms I just made! It rains and flashes with a crack of thunder! Looks SO COOL. The code is ready to support super super expansion, graphics, map and sound wise, with NO coding. Although there is no story line yet, and good dialog code has not been developed, if anything else the update at the end of the month should have lots of good graphical demos for latter in the game!

- You find some fluff, a small bottle of analgesics and a thing which your aunt gave you that you don't know what it is.

- You swallow the analgesic and the room slowly stops spinning.

- A large yellow bulldozer is converging on your home.

Your game is going to have to RULE in order to beat the Atari ST version of the Hitchhikers Guide text adventure.

Stop using DirectDraw and stick with 2D using Direct3D. Alphablending's a snap then.

Re: Quest for 3d (for all you doubters...)
itwill be a snap for me anyway
stop the discouragement, this is way better than Qbasic, so I am more than satisfied with the results so far. My thunderstorm is AWESOME!
Cant wait to realease so you guys can see. I have 3 more graphical effects I want to code in before the 2nd release. I think all 3 will be best displayed with alphablending, so I dont know if i will become good enough in time. We will see though.

i got a menu, that you can click start or exit, with its own music. Then it fades out and fades in the map. But no, dialog and stuff has not been worked on. I am coding all the graphics and special effects now, so I can easily apply them to things to come.
