    Talking Re: Goldfish needs help!

    hahaha

No i was being random and asked my bf and a friend over MSN last night. My bf got all technical with his answer so i just assumed he could be right, although i thought there must be a maths forum somewhere where people go to figure this kinda stuff out for fun!

I'm no maths whizz at all and so i couldn't even figure out the answer to my own question. And no i'm not telling you my bf's answer until i get some answers off here haha.

Get thinkin!! I await your replies

I'm not sure how your boyfriend got it down to the minute. It is exactly Wednesday morning, 3a.m.

524 miles at 2 miles per hour takes 524 / 2 = 262 hours. This is an integer number of hours, so there will be no minutes involved unless you want to get pernickety and take 1 day not as exactly 24 hrs but start faffing about with the seconds. Then you need to decide on the time of year... However, if that's what you want then you'd definitely need to specify it, as most people will make the assumption that a day is 24 hours.

Yeh i'm talking about just the 24 hour thing. I don't know how he got into minutes as don't know how he even worked it out. But hey, thanks millions because it was bugging me! As i was trying too hard to figure it out... not done any maths for 3 years now and kinda lost touch with it completely.

You guys have been a great help, Thanks
