Setting window.open properties for IE7??
When opening popping up a new window in IE7, the browser seems to ignore the status=no,location=no properties
How can I open a new window with IE7 without a location and status bar?
Thanks

Re: Setting window.open properties for IE7??
Why we can't remove the status bar and address bar, its a new security feature of IE.....
"IE 7 requires that all browser windows display an address bar. This helps foil attackers that operate by popping up new windows masquerading as pages on a legitimate site, when in fact the site is fraudulent. By requiring an address bar, users will immediately see the true URL of the displayed page, making these types of attacks more obvious. If you think you're looking at www.microsoft.com, but the browser address bar says www.illhackyou.net, you ought to be suspicious. "

Also, IE 7 is still a beta release, if something doesn't work it may because it's a bug.

IE7's new security settings give options on how address bars and status bars are displayed. But unfortunately modifying these settings makes no difference. Which I'm sure will be fixed in release.

There is a Beta 2 version already if your not running it.
