    Guide to IIS

    Hello does anyone know a good step by step guide for IIS with XP Pro .Please

    I have searched hi and low but no joy.

    All of the webcasts are IIS 6.0 (XP Pro uses 5.1). It's essentially the same, just restricted. If you learn 6.0, you can manage 5.1.

    Thanks for the reply but the link was just a maze to me i was looking for more a newbie guide, I should of said in my first post sorry.

    Then Hack's suggestion is alot more relevant. Keep my link bookmarked though, you won't be a newbie forever.

    IIS sucks from my experience, only useful in learning server side programming.

    Try Apache / php, on linux or windows.
