VB & VBA Printing option on the Page setup disappear after merging the document
Hello,
I created a VB application which uses Word to merge documents. I used Microsoft office 97 to create these Merge Documents. With These merge documents, I was able to save the setting such as font and how it should print using tray 2 & tray 3. We have upgraded our Microsoft office to 2000. This is where the problem begins...now every time we use the VB application to do the merge---everything seems to work just fine until we print. The print setup is completely gone and no matter how I change the settings and save it, the settings completely disappear after merging. If I open the merge document, I can see the settings just fine and it will print just fine but once I merge the document...it's gone. Please help! Do I need to add a component or save it differently? These documents still work just fine when using Word 97.
Thank you!
Daisy

What version of the Word library are you using in your VB project ?
Its a guess but maybe upping the version may help.
I think the latest is version 10.
Like I said, its a guess. I'm just here as its the only environment my scroll button works in

Re: VB & VBA Printing option on the Page setup disappear after merging the document
I'm currently using 8.0. But for some reason I don't see the Word library checked. I'll try adding the Microsoft Word document componet to see what happens and I'll also try to find a higher version.
Thanks for your help.
