Formatting PC with 2 HardDrives
I think I already know the answer to my question, but I thought I'd double check before formatting anything. .
I have two harddrives on my PC.
One is a 20GB that came with the computer, the other is a 160GB that I bought about a year ago.
It's been at least three years since my last Windows install and things are slowing down a little so I'd like to re-install windows.
Currently, my 20GB has the Windows install on it, and my 160GB has only Music, pictures, and misc files on it.
My question is...if I reformat my C: (20GB) will all the files on my F 160GB) be safe and not be deleted?

Yep, perfectly fine. Just make sure you backup the stuff you require off C: onto F: and you shouldn't loose a thing.
I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)

Re: Formatting PC with 2 HardDrives
First make sure it is the older version. Right click on MyComputer, select Properties, in the General tab see the version.
If you don't want to destroy your current XP setup, you can always install a new "clean" XP-Pro on different partition/drive. That will make your system a 'dual-boot' system. When the setup asks you to choose a partition, choose a different partition and choose "Leave Current File System" whae it asks for formatting.
Try this google search. I hope you'll find full instruction there.
