Using images from other products
I would like to use some logos from other products (such as Windows, Office, XBox, etc...) so I can seperate different news stories and such. Is it legal to do so?

You must read manufacturer's EULA (End User's License Agrement) to be sure but most likely you'll have to buy if you're planning to sell your product.

Even better... Get a license for every image that is copyrighted.

You can find lots of public domain images at Wikimedia Commons.
