    Is there a way to implement COM to be used with MTS on NT 4.0 by using Windows 2000 machine?

    look at DCOM and the DCOM Configurator. You should be able to use COM components built on NT4 with win2000, but may have a tougher time going the other way since WIn2000 in COM+ and has some features that are not the same as COM.
