Strange Issue...Is it a virus?
My computer started acting wierd the other day. I have Norton AV installed and it updates every 4 hours and I have it set to run everyday.
But here is the issue.
Keyboard:
When CAPS LOCK is on, all characters are lower case.
When CAPS LOCK is off, all characters are upper case.
I can't type any numbers (keypad or above the characters).
Mouse:
When ever you single click a icon, it highlights every icon upto the one you clicked. This happens in IE as well.
So you can't open a single file, like a word doc, because when you double click on it, it executes a double click on every icon that was highlighted.
Anyone else run into or seen this issue?
I have a "Professional" looking at it right now. He even told me he fixed it on Monday, only for me to boot it up Monday night and discover it was still doing it.

Your shift key is stuck on. All the behavior you are experiencing would be occuring if the shift key was pressed.

I had that exact same problem a few days ago, hitting the keyboard and forcing shutdown worked fine.

Violence just isn't the answer ILMV. You need to go through months of therapy to help you through this. That is the only way...
