    I am not familiar with "My Chat". Prehaps you might like to elaborate.
    PHP || MySql || Apache || Get Firefox || OpenOffice.org || Click || Slap ILMV || 1337 c0d || GotoMyPc For FREE! Part 1, Part 2

    | PHP Session --> Database Handler * Custom Error Handler * Installing PHP * HTML Form Handler * PHP 5 OOP * Using XML * Ajax * Xslt | VB6 Winsock - HTTP POST / GET * Winsock - HTTP File Upload

    Latest quote: crptcblade - VB6 executables can't be decompiled, only disassembled. And the disassembled code is even less useful than I am.

    salcman, vladmir:

    Well, it is going to be almost impossible for anyone here to tell you how to "read count of clients and their IP Address" into your chat program without seeing all the code. And, I don't think there are very many people here who would want to go through all your code just to try and figure it out for you.

    Is this a chat program that your wrote yourself?

    One thing you might try is doing a Google search on "PHP Chat" and you will get hundreds of links to free PHP chat programs. Maybe you could find one of those chat programs that does something like what you want to do and download the program and study the code. Then you could incorporate those features into your chat program.

    Guess that doesn't solve your problem, but it might be a place to start.

    Good Luck
