Ok, so I was messing around with win95 in my computer class... booted up and got my normal login screen, but when I went to type the password in I acidentaly hit the windows key, that brought up a task manager.... so I went to see the menu options, under the file menu there is a "start application" option. So knowing that I could see the c: by lanching c:\ I decided to view the hd.... but to my greatest astonishment it launched windows right behind the login screen. I was able to use everything except the desktop... Start worked and everything!!! So my question is.... does this work with other OS's and Other Login's... tried it with novel and win logins and they both work... does this work for anyone else? And how do I exploit my new found knowledge?

if you would like to know how to get the admin privalges in windows 95 this is how.
1) click on a blank partof the desktop, and press F3, this should bring up the find dialog box.
2)now type in the find box admin.pwl make sure that you search the c drive
3)now select that file and press F2 this should enable you to change the name, change it to admin.pw+
4)now log off and in the login box type in admin in the user name and anything you want in the password box
5)now you should have admin privalges
6)now search for both admin.pwl and admin.pw+
7)delete admin.pwl and rename admin.pw+ to admin.pwl then log out when you are finished, the original password for admin should still be the same
enjoy
Some people have told me they don't think a fat penguin really embodies the grace of Linux, which just tells me they have never seen a angry penguin charging at them in excess of 100mph. They'd be a lot more careful about what they say if they had.

just a quick thought................
just a quick thought, admin.pwl may not be there so do a search for .pwl and chose the most appropriate one, the rest of the rules still apply
