    Should a variable capacitor of 7 plates(a a bunch of half circle plates where each second can be rotated) be considered as 6 of serial connected capacitors? Ok i know it is, but i'm not sure <-- another stupid comment

    If I remember right...

    Not serial, parallel. The more plates you have, the greater the area of dielectric between those plates. If I remember right, the capacitance of a capacitor is directly proportional to the area of seperated plates, which is like a parallel circuit, where C = C1+C2.
