Not so related to VB but still....
How can I save a file which is for viewing-only (video-streaming only)?
like this one:
mms://video9.technion.ac.il/Courses/PhysMech/PhysMech-18.wmv
sorry for not being related to VB so much.

launch it in Media player.. pick file saveas ?

thanks but there is just one more problem:
I think the file i am trying to download needs some kind of username and password. I am not sure. because I cannot view the file through the Media Player. it just doesnt load it. any idea how to bypass it? thanks again.

Check for an FTP site, attempt a guest/anonymous login and see if it's mirrored.
Beyond that, we can't help you. It's against our AUP or EU or whatever it is that we agreed to when we signed up for this site.
