    Angry Communication between VB and RSLinx OPC server.

    Does anyone have any example code for communicating between VB and an Allen Bradly PLC using RSLinx as an OPC server? Or know of anywhere i can find some.

    Hi,

    Sorry to reply lately.
    You can use OPC ActiveX to connect to your OPC Server.
    You can create application to read/write OPC tags in OPC Server.

    There are many of OPC ActiveX you can find. A low cost ActiveX control with unlimited tags capable I know is COPC32. Pls visit http://www.scadathai.com to download it and try. You can see the tutorias how to use it with VB,VB.NET and C# too.
