Re: Go Steelers
The refs were paid off to make biased call in favor of the Steelers. That so called touchdown where the ball didnt even touch the line should not have been!

Re: Go Steelers
Between that and the "Offensive Pass Interference" or whatever it was that they called it.
...I just didn't want to watch the rest of the game.

Re: Go Steelers
Yes, there were a couple of really bad calls that if were made correctly would have made it a really close game at the least.

Re: Go Steelers
In the end Seatle killled themselves with poor game mangment. I've never seen such a bad two minute drill in the nfl like that one was. They should have at least gotten a field goal at the end of the 1st half (more than likely a touchdown) and they should have done the same at the end of the 2nd half.
I'd much rather have watched a game where the refs don't show up at all.

Re: Go Steelers
To any one that cares, the refs screwed pittsburgh on several occasions as well. If you have the game recorded re-watch it and only look at # 51 and #55 of the pittsburgh defense. After that, write to the Seattle seahawks and ask them to please return Joey Porter and James farrior's wallets. I've never seen so much holding go uncalled in a football game ever. I counted at least 8 uncalled holding penalties in the first half alone.

Oh no doubt. I saw some cases of uneccesary roughness by the Seahawks, not to mention times where they were pushing for an altercation. No ones denying Seahawks own screw ups. Its just that they received some obvious VERY bad calls against them that really screwed them.

yeah. I agree. Being a steeler fan from pittsburgh living in seattle really sucks right now. I've seen peewee football games that were better played than that multi billion ball of krap last night. Bad officiating just compounded the pain of watching a bad game.

Re: Go Steelers
NFL sucks sooo much. There's no way to compare last night pile of #$% to the Rose bowl - now that was a football game.

I agree the Rose Bowl was a great game (So was the Penn State/Florida State game) but look at the National Championship games in the recent past. Most have been rather lackluster as well.
The superbowl wasn't great, but a couple of the games leading up to it were. The colts/steelers game was pretty good. Didn't watch much of the NFC, but i'm sure they had their defining game.
You can't write off the NFL as whole based on one bad game.
Steelers in '07 w00t!

Re: Go Steelers
College Football is consistantly better than Pro.
Especially the last Rose Bowl. oof that was good.
But at least NFL was still better than XFL. Ugh....
